Walk through the streets of Adelaide CBD on a lazy sunday morning, and you'll most probably find yourself walking down the footpath, with only about half a dozen other people. Once you reach Rundle Street, the scene is a bit busier, with people strolling the streets with friends or family after a coffee and breakfast.
Of course, Cibo is high up there as one of the busiest along the strip for the best coffee shop with an amazing smooth coffee, made to perfection. The temperature is always perfect, with the coffee never too strong so that it over-powers the smoothness of the freshly ground beans.
Walk a little further down the strip, and on the corner of Rundle St and Ebeneezer Pl you will find Felici. Not only is the customer service great, the coffee and range of snacks will always get your taste buds going. Drop in on a weekend and sit outside amongst the cyclists passing by for their morning coffee or sit inside under the chandeliers and enjoy the warm atmosphere the staff and locals bring. Here you'll find regulars who are most welcoming and are willing to have a friendly chat with you.
Further down the strip, toward East Terrace is a new coffee shop on the left, opposite Cocoalt, with what seems like a couch out of the popular tv series 'Friends'. Come along and bring your friends and have a chat over a coffee whilst sitting on the confortable couch in the window. Although quite small, the Italian ambiance will be sure to leave you wanting more.
If you live in the hills, venture onto Hallett Road and visit 'Taylor Blend'. This is a small coffee shop, surrounded by the leafy views of the eastern suburbs. You will not be disappointed by the friendliness of the staff, nor the locals. And the coffee is sure to impress any connoisseur
